This picture of Whitby Abbey was awarded the coveted Gold award for landscape photography from SW.P.P and was taken by the professional photographer Colin Boulter. Colin is very proud of this picture, and says it has excellent depth of field and the light really brings out the tones and textures of this iconic building. You can see the reflection of the Abbey in the water, which causes a leading line for the viewer really adding depth to the image and composition.

Manchester-based Neilson Reeves photography is owned by Colin Boulter who is a qualified photographer and digital artist. It was his photography of landscapes competing in Europe and the UK.
