Up Steps, Down Steps?

This was three photographs I took and stitched together that were taken just as dusk was falling in December 2010 on Whitby’s famous 199 steps. I wanted to catch the reflection of the lights in the harbour and still have enough light to see the scenery. I actually think this looks better on a large canvas print because the steps looming in their central point and it almost looks like you’re there and you could just walk up to Whitby Abbey, or down to Church Street.
